PURPOSE:To prevent creasing of paper and to make a titled device lighter in weight and smaller in size by providing >=1 pair of pressurizing rolls moving in mutually opposite directions at a right angle to the advancing direction of copying paper. CONSTITUTION:A pair of pressurizing rolls 2, 2a are made movable in such a way that tension acts roughly in the directions B, C at a right angle to the moving direction of the arrow A of copying paper 1. The transfer paper 1 transferred with toner images is moved in the drection A by feed rolls 7, 7a and 8, 8a. At the time when this paper 1 passes on a base plate 6, frames 4, 4a mounted respectively to rails 3, 3a are moved mutually in the opposite directions, whereby the rolls 2, 2a are moved in mutually opposite directions to pressurize the paper 1 in such a way as to act tensile force upon its surface. Thereby, said paper is fixed by pressure. |
