<p>The puncturing cap opens a bottle containing gas under pressure to accommodate the bottle head and direct the emerging gas to the point required. The puncturing tool (1) comprises a plug (14), which is hit with the fist after turning about its axis to release it. This brings a safety notch formed in the skirt (19) of the plug into line with a guide fixed to the cap body (18). The plug can be thrust in the opposite direction by a spring (27) acting between the top face of the body (17) and its own interior surface.</p> |
