Window wiper having a support element which is to be attached to a wiper arm and a wiper blade made of elastic material, in which the connection between the support element and the wiper blade is produced by at least two pairs of holding claws of the support element and the wiper blade contains at least one stiffening reinforcement which is fixed on the one hand with respect to the support element by means which interact with the holding claws, and on the other hand with respect to the wiper blade at the level of the attachment of the wiper blade by means of at least one tooth which protrudes over the edge of the reinforcement, is directed into the material of the wiper blade and is formed by indents in the reinforcement, which indents form an interruption in the side edge of the reinforcement in such a way that after deformation one or two sharp lips are formed.
