<p>The box is formed from two U-shaped side walls (1,5) with two replaceable lateral side walls (3) which come in various lengths. The base and lid fit into grooves around the edges of the side walls. The walls of the box are made of a sandwich construction, with anodised aluminium outer layers encasing polyurethane foam. The lateral side walls are joined to one of the U-shaped walls by link-sections (2) which have recesses to take the square ends of the wall (31). Holes in the link-sections and wall ends allow the assembly to be screwed together. The second U-shaped wall (5) fits into a link-section, which has an additional right-angled bracket (51). A round-ended lug (48) fixed to a bracket on the U-shaped wall fits into an expanded elastic cup (52) on the link-section in a snap-action, firmly holding the two sections together, yet allowing them to be separated by a moderate pulling force. The box has slots to take internal lateral partition walls.</p> |
