PURPOSE:To improve a current margin and a bias margin, by using a trapezoidal pulse as a stretch current applied to a detector which is provided with a stretch conductor of a magnetic bubble memory device. CONSTITUTION:As for a detector using a stretch conductor, a bubble 9 is transferred to the right from the left of a transfer pattern 6 as indicated with an arrow by a rotating magnetic field, and while the bubble is staying at a sediment part 10 positioned at a hairpin loop of the stretch conductor 7, a stretch pulse current 3 is made to flow to the stretch conductor 7, the bubble is stretched and regarded as a stripe domain, and a resistance variation of a permalloy detector 8 due to this stripe domain is detected. In this case, a stretch pulse 13 is obtained by adding a trapezoidal pulse of a current I2 to a main pulse of a current I1, its current margin becomes larger than a conventional rectangular pulse, and the upper limit of the bias margin is improved remarkably. |
