Sampler for bulk product - uses casing double acting cylinder, and two ball cages between casing and cylinder

The device is used to take samples in a mass of bulk product, and includes a cylindrical casing topped by a double acting cylinder. The double acting cylinder contains a piston rod whose free end is fitted with an ejection piston which can move inside the casing. In order to evacuate a sample by the ejection piston, the casing is temporarily immobilised. The casing is acted upon by the rod of the double acting cylinder to take a sample. These two operations are possible due to the use of two ball cages placed between the casing and the double acting cylinder. In their active position, the balls of one cage immobilise the casing and the balls of the other cage couple the double acting cylinder rod to the casing.
