PURPOSE:To improve the durability and the antistatic properties, by allowing a magnetic layer to contain fine powder of fluoroplastics and perfluoroalkylcarboxylate. CONSTITUTION:Fine powder of fluoroplastics consisting of polytetrafluoroethylene, polyhexafluoropropylene, polytrichlorofluoroethylene, or the like and a perfluoroalkylcarboxylate which has the surface activity function and is conductive and lubricative are used to make up a magnetic paint, and this magnetic paint is applied and dried on a base material to obtain a magnetic recording medium. |
