PURPOSE:To rationalize a system, by distributing a main storage device in advance to each virtual space, localizing a control range of the main storage device, reducing CPU overhead of the system, and reducing mutual interference between the virtual spaces. CONSTITUTION:When a job is requested and a virtual space is opened, real pages of prescribed number are fetched and assigned to an intrinsic area, from among assignable real pages RP of real page assembly assigned to a common space. In case when it has become necessary to newly assign a real page, the real page RP controlled by an assignable queue QE of the virtual space is assigned, and in case when the real page RP does not exist in said queue, the real page RP controlled by an assignable queue QF of the common space is assigned, and in case when the number of its assignable real pages has become a constant value or below, the real page RP is selected from the real page assembly being in use, and the page substitute processing to the assignable real page is executed to both the common space and the virtual space being in the course of execution. |
