<p>The car lamp cluster includes a number of lamps (14,22) serving different functions mounted within one housing. A single folded sheet of material (10) serves as the base of the lamp chambers, and the mounting board for the lamp holders (11,13). Two lamps (22) may be mounted parallel, whilst a third (14) may be mounted at right angles to them at the end of the assembly. Covers (4,9) fit over the front of the unit and are attached by a single screw (19) fitting into a threaded hole (20) in a division between the two lamp chambers. On the plate which supports the lamp holders, there is a terminal (15) bent out of the plane of the plate for attaching an earth wire. The whole assembly is backed by a plastics cover (6).</p> |
