摘要

PURPOSE:To produce an endless magnetic tape recording medium with superior running stability by forming a lubricant layer containing fine powder of fluororesin and a perfluoroalkyl ethylene oxide adduct on the back of a base element. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant layer obtained by dispersing the fine powder of lubricating fluororesin such as resin of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene or trichlorofluoroethylene, and perfluoroalkyl ethylene oxide adduct with surface active, lubricating and electric conductive properties into a binder of rubber-like resin or the like is formed on the reversed side of a base element which has a magnetic layer on the front side.
