PURPOSE:To improve rigidity of the rear plate of a friction pad and to ensure adhesive strength of a lining by mounting a plurality of concave grooves on the front of the rear plate that the lining adheres to and by filling the concave grooves by molding of the linging and the rear plate. CONSTITUTION:Through holes 13, 13 are mounted on both left and right end sides of the rear plate 12 of a friction pad 11, and a plurality of concave grooves 15 are mounted on an adhering surface of the rear plate 12 to a lining 14. In molding of the lining 14 and the rear plate 12, the through holes 13 and the concave grooves 15 are filled to be integral. Thus, the rear plate 12 is improved in its rigidity without an increase in thickness, and adhesive strength of the lining 14 is ensured so as to obtain a satisfactory strenght on the whole. |
