PURPOSE:To simplify the controlling of a sliver unevenness, by driving a speed change gear consisting of a differential gear and a servo motor provided between a front draft roller group and a back draft roller with one motor. CONSTITUTION:The turning force of a driving motor (M) is transmitted through gear gows and transmitting shafts in a gear box 1 to a front draft roller 2, the second draft roller 3 and servo draft roller 4 to rotate them at a constant speed. A speed change gear 13 consisting of a differential gear apparatus (D) and a servo motor (S) is provided between the driving shaft of the back draft roller 5 and the driving shafts of the draft roller groups 2, 3 and 4 provided thereafter. The rotation of the servo motor (S) is driven by correction signals given from a controlling command apparatus by the measured values of a sliver thickness measuring apparatus 7 provided above the back draft roller 5. |
