Process for the mass cultivation of cells in shallow containers made of plastic sheets suitable for the cultivation, in an incubator with controlled atmosphere, where the container is completely filled with nutrient solution and, after some of the cells have been anchored on an inner wall of the container, is inverted and then kept in this position until cells have begun to grow and subsequently have formed a so-called monolayer cell lawn.
