Programmable sequence control

A programmable sequence control is proposed in which during the sequence, at one point, a delay time (12) is effective which, in comparison with the different transit times of sequence paths (10) is of such length that the total transit time is essentially constant. In order to be able to test sequence control circuits quickly, a test signal is applied to a test pin of the sequence control during the testing, as a result of which the delay time is bypassed internally. <IMAGE>
