摘要 In order to reduce energy conversion losses and thereby improve the efficiency of heat engines, a heat engine which is built on the Stirling engine principle is equipped with one or more cylinder head(s) pervious to radiation energy (energy quanta), through which the radiation energy (energy quanta), solar energy radiation, combustion energy radiation etc., then passes directly into the swept volume (expansion chamber) and onto the piston surface (hot side) of the heat engine. In order to keep the heat dissipation and radiation losses to a minimum the cylinder head pervious to energy quanta may be designed with a double wall with intermediate vacuum whilst the piston surface may be absorbent or reflective for specific energy quanta magnitudes and reflectors and heat insulation may be fitted on the cylinder head. <IMAGE>
