A coherent integration of phase monopulse signals by means of discrete Fourier transformation is carried out in both the summation channel and the differential channels, separately for the distance elements, and the detection threshold is then determined through averaging via the output voltage of all Doppler channels of the discrete Fourier transform. The quantities are then formed from the complex output signals of the individual Doppler channels, the maximum of these values being compared with the determined detection threshold. If the threshold is exceeded, the radar target data are forwarded for target tracking evaluation. The Pulse-Doppler radar receiver according to the invention is suitable for use within a computer-controlled multifunction radar, in particular with an electronically phase-controlled antenna array. <IMAGE>
