In this device for the elastic support of machines or machine parts, an inner fixing part (4, 4a, 4b) is connected non-positively to an outer housing (8, 8a, 8b) via a rubber body (6, 6a, 6b) arranged under prestress between them. In order to increase the axial and tangential forces which can be accepted by this arrangement and to reduce the production costs due to a change in the tolerances, the rubber body (6, 6a, 6b) has, on its face turned towards the fixing part (4, 4a, 4b) and/or the housing (8, 8a, 8b), at least one stud (7, 7a, 7b), which projects, if required under prestress, into a corresponding depression (9, 9a, 9b) in the fixing part (4, 4a, 4b) and/or the housing (8, 8a, 8b). <IMAGE>
