The invention relates to a process for sorting complex sulphidic/oxidic ores and/or preconcentrates, specially Pb/Ag/Sn/Sb ores by flotation, the ores and/or preconcentrates containing both sulphidic and oxidic valuable minerals, involving joint flotation, at least in part, of the valuable minerals Pb, Ag, Sn, Sb, Zn and Cu in sulphidic form and the valuable minerals Sn, W, Ta and Ti in oxidic form, to give a collective concentrate. Suitable collecting agents employed for flotation were sulphated and/or sulphonated reagents. The collective concentrate is particularly suitable for smelting in levitation smelting units.
