A knock down frame which can be assembled out of six pieces is disclosed which is useful for housing electronic components. The shipping assembly comprises two half frames, two base cross ties with lateral gussets, and two top cross ties. The gussets are integral with the base cross ties, and secured by removable fasteners at their remote ends to the bottom portions of the half frames.
