The invention relates to a process for laminating a moulding (21) whose finally laminated surface has a predetermined separating line (4) between different regions (2, 3), by means of a thermoforming sheet (1) which - held in a frame (5) - is brought in heated form above the moulding (21) located in a mould (18) and is adhesively bonded by a vacuum process on the moulding (21). In order to avoid additional operations for obtaining the separating line (4) on the laminated moulding (21) and to mechanise the production, it is proposed to use a sheet (1) already having the different regions (2, 3) with the separating line (4). This sheet (1) is held along the separating line (4) against a bar (11) adapted to the contour of the moulding (21) in the region for the separating line (4) and is pressed with its separating line region immovably against the moulding (21).
