A flotation cell for clarifying liquids comprises a vessel 1 divided by an inclined partition 7 into two superposed chambers which communicate at the upper end of the partition, the lower chamber 8 being provided with at least one duct 5 for feed of liquid to be treated and with means 3 for providing bubbles therein, the upper chamber 9 being provided with at least one duct 6 for extraction of clarified liquid opening into the upper chamber at a vertical level lower than the upper end of the partition and with means 4 for removing floated material from the upper surface of the liquid. <IMAGE> |
