PURPOSE:A cosmetic, prepared by combining beeswax with a mineral, e.g. germanium, and having improved make-up effect particularly as a basic cosmetic. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic prepared by incorporating a cosmetic containing beeswax as a basic component with a mineral, e.g. germanium, or a cosmetic containing the beeswax containing the mineral e.g. germanium, as a component. The resultant cosmetic contains a mineral having the enzymic activating effect for the skin by the co-enzymic action related to the enzymic activity and another skin effect in an active form, has improved stability with time and is completely nontoxic and capable of exhibiting improved make-up effect particularly as a basic cosmetic. In addition to the germanium, the following are effective as the mineral: Calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, magnesium, iron, manganese, iodine, zinc, silicon, aluminum, chromium, mokybdenum, selenium, etc. |
