PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a miniature motor for a timepiece and to eliminate the vibration of the motor by providing main and auxiliary pole pair which deflects the starting direction of a rotor in one direction by displacing the static central position of a rotor from the center of the magnetic center line of a stator and starting direction setting means. CONSTITUTION:Main poles 32, 34, 42, 44 are disposed at the position delayed in clockwise direction from auxiliary poles 31, 33, 41, 43, the static center position X of a rotor 20 is displaced in clockwise direction from the center P of the magnetic center lines Y, X of a stator, and the starting direction of the rotor 20 is deflected in counterclockwise direction. Starting direction setting means for rotating the rotor 20 in a direction opposite to the deflecting starting direction such as, for example, a reverse rotation preventing mechanism which does not rotate the rotor 20 in counterclockwise direction is provided. Since the starting direction of the rotor 20 is deflected in the counterclockwise direction by the main poles 32, 34, 42, 44 and the auxiliary poles 32, 33, 42, 43, the rotor 20 rotates while being braked to be started at the prescribed timing. |
