摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive to efficiently consume the electric power for cooking by a constitution wherein the voltage applied to drive the shutter of an aperture, through which infrared rays emitted from foodstuffs passes, is controlled at the value as low as possible necessary only for keeping the driving force of the shutter in the cooker, which electronically controls the heating of the foodstuffs by sensing the infrared rays emitted from the foodstuffs. CONSTITUTION:When the cooking is started by operating a keyboard 17, a microcomputer 16 outputs the heating signal H and, afer the predetermined timing being taken, the first and second signals A and B so as to be ON switching circuits 23 and 25. As a result, the voltage across a solenoid 11 turns to be 30V, resulting in releasing the shutter of the infrared ray passing aperture (not shown) by pivoting the shutter against a spring (not shown). When an infrared ray sensor 6 senses the infrared rays under the above-mentioned released shutter conditions, the microcomputer 16 stops the output of the second signal B so as to drop the voltage across the solenoid 11 to 10V or the value as low as possible necessary only for maintaining the shutter at its open state. When the heating completes, the output of the first signal A is stopped and consequently the shutter is closed. In such a manner as described above, the improvement of the efficiency of power consumption can be resulted.
