PURPOSE:To remove burrs highly accurately within a short period so as to obtain a high quality molded article at a low cost, by abutting the bases of the burrs on fixed metal blades, and forcing the molded article against the blades thereby shearing the burrs. CONSTITUTION:The molded article 1 is put over a placing bed 5, and is positioned with the tips abutted on the metal blades 8. Then when by driving a pressing apparatus 9, dies 10 are abutted on the side walls of the molded article 1, and are pressed against them, the side walls of the molded article 1 are deformed due to the elasticity, and the bases of the burrs 2 are abutted on the tips of the metal blades 8, and then on continuing the pressing, the burrs 2 are sheared from the bases thereof and are removed off. |
