PURPOSE:To provide pressure sensitive copying paper with good whiteness that contains as the main ingredients aromatic carboxylic acid (multivalent metallic salt) contained in a micro-capsule and a developer that has clay and is of low cost and free of yellowing with time. CONSTITUTION:In pressure sensitive copying paper with a developing agent layer that contains as the main ingredients (A) aromatic carboxylic acid (preferably 3.5-di-tertiary butyl salicylate, etc.) or its multivalent metal salt (preferably magnesium, aluminum), and (B) clays (preferably active clay), the ingredient (A) is encapsulated in a microcapsule (polyethylene resin, etc. as wall coating material with preferably of thickness from 0.5-8mu) to prevent the contact of the ingredients, (A) and (B). In this way the desired copying paper is obtained. By the way the ratio of the microcapsule containing the ingredient (A) and the ingredient (B) is preferred to be 5:95-30:70. |
