PURPOSE:To improve the dispersibility, packing property, etc., of magnetic powder by using a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer having epoxy groups and a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer having carboxyl groups in combination as binder components. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic paint which contains metallic magnetic powder, and a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer having epoxy groups and a vinyl chloride- vinyl acetate copolymer having carboxyl groups as binder components is applied over a base. The preferable weight ratio of said copolymers in use is 9:1-1:9. Further, an isocyanate compound having a low molecular weight such as 2,4- tolylenediisocyanate is contained as a binder component to further improve the wear resistance of a magnetic layer. |
