PURPOSE:To realize stable magnetic tape running, by preventing damage of the magnetic tape surface and various bad influence due to humidity elevation by providing a tape guide having spherical particles with 30-50mum diameter on its surface. CONSTITUTION:Spherical particles (c) with 30-50mum diameter are provided to the surface of a running section (a) of a tape guide. Because of the spherical particles, even in case when, dust in the air is mixed, the dust falls in a hollow section 4 and the tape will not be damaged so much even when the tape slides over the surface of the guide. Moreover, even when the humidity rises, increase of the frictional resistance can be prevented by the action of the above-mentioned spherical particles when said tape guide is used. By providing spherical particles having 30-50mum diameters to the surface of the tape guide which contacts with magnetic tape, the contacting area between the tape guide and magnetic tape is reduced without giving any damages to the surface of magnetic tape, and thus, the frictional coefficient can be reduced sharply. |
