<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a device which has a function of judging whether flashing is possible or not in accordance with photographic conditions, by outputting a control signal for the charging of electric power enough for flashing which corresponds to the reflection coefficient of a subject and a photographic film speed. CONSTITUTION:When a capacitor C14 is powered up and charged, a detecting circuit 76 calculates the charging energy of the C14 and supplies the result to a multiplying circuit 70. The output of the circuit 70 corresponds to the reflection coefficient of a subject. When a prescribed film speed is set, the output of the circuit 70 is amplified in accordance with the film photographic speed and when the amplification output exceeds a reference voltage, the output of a comparator goes up to a level H. When an input to a comparator 77 exceeds the reference voltage, its output goes up to the level H. Then when one of the outputs of the comparators 77 and 80 has the level H, depressing a release button turns on an SCR24 and at the same time, a strobe tube 18 emits a flash.</p> |
