PURPOSE:To obtain fine scanning pictures even if scanning intervals are changed, by detecting the latent image strength scanned by a fixed light beam in a photosensitive body nonpicture area and changing a monochromatic development level according to the detected output. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed output picture can be obtained by even charging for the surface of a photosensitive body 4 through a charger 7, exposure through a scanning beam O, visualization of the latent image through a developing device 8, and transferring process through a transfer charger 9. When a scanning beam is oscillated in this device, the latent image level corresponding to even black or white is extremely changed. Therefore, the latent image level on the surface of the drum 4 is read out after exporsure by a potential sensor of a control circuit A and one or multiple synchronizing fluctuation potential or fluctuation magnetic field is applied to the developing device 8 according to the detected output to change the monochromatic development level of the developing device 8. Thus, fine scanning pictures can be obtained by correcting and controlling the influences to pictures even if scanning intervals are changed by oscillation or the like. |
