In a machine-tool, such as a copy-milling machine, having two or more separatelyadjustable work or pattern tables, such as 12 and 14, the adjustment means 36 of one of the tables can be connected by disengageable means 52 to he second master table so that adjustment of he latter will cause equal adjustment of the first table. The tables 12 and 14 are separately adjustable by lead screws operated by handles 24, 26, respectively, the nut 32 for the table 12 resting on a support 34 and the nut 36 for the table 14 resting by means of a flange 42 on the upper end of a fixed sleeve 38 in which it is axially slidable. The arm 52 is pivoted on a bracket 46 carried by the table 12 and can be engaged under the nut 36 so that the latter is raised, together with the table 14, when the table 12 is raised, while the range of independent adjustment of the table 14 by the handle 26 is retained.
