PURPOSE:To improve rigidity of the outer panel of a door without weight increase by following method in which reinforcing member composed of bead forming material fastened under a reinforcing resin layer which is not hardened before use, is arrranged on the inner surface of the outer panel of a door and is hardened. CONSTITUTION:Bead forming material 5 narrower than a reinforcing resin layer 4 is fastened under said resin layer 4 which is not hardened before use and is flexible. Reinforcing member 3 is provided with the under surface of skirt part 41 on both sides of the resin layer 4 as an adhesive contact surface. Then, as the bead forming material 5, foam polyethylene sheet etc. are used, and the sheet forms a bead like expanded protrusion 43 by foaming before the resin layer 4 is hardened. Then, this reinforcing member 3 is vertically arranged e.g. on the inner surface of the outer panel 11 of a door, and the upper part and lower part of said member 3 is respectively connected to the skirt of the door 11 and a guard bar 2. While the bead like expanded protrusion 43 is formed by foaming of the bead forming material 5, the reinforcing resin layer 4 is hardened, thereby strengthening the outer panel 11 of the door. |
