PURPOSE:To prepare a heat-sensitive recording material which is prevented from discoloration and fading and is excellent in thermal color development quality, by a method wherein a color development heat-sensitive layer containing a leuco dystuff and a given acid material is formed on a support product. CONSTITUTION:Preparation is conducted on coating liquid for forming a heat- sensitive color development layer containing (A) a leuco dystuff which is colorless or fading at a normal temperature, (B) an acid material in which bisphenol A and a bisphenol compound of a formulaI, where R1, R11 are alkil branched from C3-8; R2, R3, R12, R13 are alkil of H, C1-8; Y is S, O, SO2; a formula II, where m is 0-3; R14 and R15 are alkil of H, C1-8, or toroidal penthamethylene in which R14 and R15 are combined, are mixed at a weight ratio of 1 to 9-9 to 1, and (C) an auxiliary component, such as a binder, wax, if necessary. The coating liquid is applied and dried on a support product, such as papers, synthetic resin films, to form a heat-sensitive color devlopment layer, and an adhesive layer is formed on the back, if necessary. |
