PURPOSE:To prepare a heat-sensitive recording material which is fixable and is prevented from the discoloration of a color development picture, by a method wherein a heat sensitive color development layer, containing a leuco dystuff and an acid material which are separated with a photo brinding resin, is formed on a support substance. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a leuco dystuff, being colorless or slightly light- colored at a normal temperature, is coated with a photo bridging resin, such as a butadien polymer containing high 1,2-structure, with a melting point or softening point of 50-250 deg.C. A preparation is made on a coating liquid for heat- sensitive color development layer in which the leuco dystuff, and an acid material, such as alpha-naphthol, which color-develops the leuco dystuff at a heating time, or a leuco dystuff, containing an auxiliary component, such as a binder, wax, if necessary, and the acid material are isolated with the photo brindging resin to be prevented from the occurrence of reaction. The coating liquid is applied and dried on a support substance, such as papers, synthetic resin films, to form a heatensitive color development layer. |
