PUNCTURE DETECTOR FOR VEHICLE, SUCH AS MOTOR CYCLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To realize the automatic cancelling of action for a winker by enabling detection of the puncture of a vehicle through an output property of a terrestrial magnetism sensor provided on the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A terrestrial magnetism sensor 1 is installed on an appropriate location and a voltage output showing a travelling direction of a vehicle is made continuously applicable. Upon a D/A conversion 5 this output is applied to an arithmetic unit 2 and an output variation rate DELTAV/DELTAt is obtained here. And this value DELTAV/DELTAt is compared by a comparator 6 with an established value obtained by means of a setting device 7 and when the value DELTAV/DELTAt is larger than the established value it is judged as a puncture condition. And the comparator 6 is so constituted that upon an application of a winker switch 8 a cancelling signal becomes applicable when the value DELTAV/DELTAt becomes smaller than a reference value again after it has once become larger than the established value and that the winker is cancelled automatically through an operation of a relay caused by the cancelling signal.
