PURPOSE:To drive a steel pipe pile underground without breaking the pile by a method in which the tip of a spiral steel pipe having a weld-padding line inside is filled with concrete and hardened, and the concrete-enclosed tip of the pile is driven. CONSTITUTION:The open tip of a spiral steel pipe 1 having a spiral padding line formed by wedling inside is filled with concrete and hardened so as to close the tip of the spiral steel pile. In this case, the length of the concrete filled is approx. 1-3 times the inside diameter of the steel pipe 1. In driving the steel pipe pile, sand 4 as a buffer is charged onto the concrete 3, or wood, paper, etc., is superposed on the concrete 3, and a rammer W is inserted into the steel pipe 1 to give a strike or vibration to the concrete 3. |
