PURPOSE:To reduce fuel consumption of the above-titled apparatus, by providing a pump circuit downwardly of a heat exchanger in a hot-water storing tank and a uniform distribution circuit and a rapid feeding circuit having a solenoid valve upardly of the heat exchanger, in the manner that they are communucated to the heat exchanger, and thereby enabling to select the mode of use of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION:At the central portion of a hot-water storing tank 1, a heat exchanger 4 having a burner 6, water chamber 10, etc. is disposed laterally with some inclination, so that its exhaust side is located downward. A suction pipe 14 having a circulation pump 13 is disposed downwardly of the heat exchanger 4 while a uniform distribution circuit 26 and a rapid feeding circuit 23 including a solenoid valve 20 are disposed upwardly of the heat exchanger 4, so that the modes of use, ''rapid feeding mode'', ''economical use mode'' and ''full boiling use mode'', can be selected freely as the case demands. In case of ''rapid feeding use'', the pump 13 is stopped and the valve 20 is opened, so that water heated by the heat exchanger 4 is supplied to the rapid feeding circuit 23 from the water chamber 10, while in case of ''econimical use '', the vale 20 is clsed, so that hot water is supplied only to the uniform distribution circuit 26. Further, in case of ''full boiling use'', the pump 13 is driven for heating the entire water in the tank 1 uniformly. |
