PURPOSE:To improve the quality of water supplied to a nuclear reactor in a boiling water reactor type nuclear power plant, by controlling the flow rate of water passed through a purifying means to be constant, and injecting oxygen into a cindensate system for protecting it against corrosion. CONSTITUTION:Condensate drawn out from a main condenser 32 is purified in a condensate purifying means 52 after raising the pressure of the condensate and then carried to a booster pump 72 with a proper amount of oxygen being injected into the condensate from an oxygen injection point 62 to meet with the density of oxygen in condensate at the outlet of the condensate purifying means 52. Further, a line returning to the main condenser 32 is extended from an intermediate portion between the oxygen injection point 62 and booster pump 72, and a flow control valve 9 is provided in the line. Here, the flow control valve 9 is so controlled that the flow rate of condensate passed therethrough is the sum of the flow rate of condensate discharged from the booster pump 72 and that returned to the main condenser 32. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to protect the condensate system against corrosion. |
