<p>Two U-shaped elements (13) into which a flat screened CRT is fitted have feet (3) to permit fixing to the equipment. These U-shaped elements are not symmetrical for each supports different sub assemblies. A printed circuit (12) provides transverse rigidity. Arms (5,6,11) form the sides to the support structure while shaped elements (4) fixed to the two side members (5,6) partially surround the CRT. A band (7) surrounds these shaped elements which also have ridges on the inner surface to provide a track (10) with shoulders between which the belt surrounding the tube is located. The tube and the fixing assembly are clamped by a clip (2) on the band. An adhesive applied to the shaped elements (4) reinforces the fixing forces.</p> |
