PURPOSE:To provide watertightness to a tube, by covering EVA powder on the inner face of a tubular molded object by rotational molding on the covering material of the joint part of the submarine cable etc. and heat-expanding it after taking out from the mold. CONSTITUTION:Vinylchloride type resin composition or water-crosslinkable silicone grafted polyolefine or crosslinkable polyolefine type resin incorporated with organic peroxide of dicumyl peroxide etc. are pulverized and the powder is put into the mold and formed to the tube by rotational molding, then cooled below the softening point of the resin and crosslinked. Next, the powder of EVA of which vinylacetate content is 20-30% is put inside of the mold to which the tube is still contacted, coated uniformly on the inner face of the tube again by rotational molding, cooled and taken out from the mold. Then the heat-shrinkable tube is manufactured by heat-expanding. |
