PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of fluid completely, by disposing a rotor in a housing in a freely rotatable manner, and providing a partition plate for dividing the inner space of the housing into a preheating chamber and a heat absorbing chamber between heat exchanger blades of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 3 is disposed in a housing 4 in a freely rotatable manner, and a partition plate 6 for dividing the inner space of the housing 4 into a preheating chamber 7 and a heat absorbing chamber 8 is disposed between heat exchanger blades 1 of the rotor 3 in the manner that it is held in sliding contact with the side faces 5 of the heat exchanger blades 1. High-temperature waste fluid introduced into the heat absorbing chamber 8 from an inlet port 11 is deprived of heat through contact with the blades 1, and then discharged to the outside of the chamber 8 from an outlet port 12. Low-temperature fluid, on the other hand, is introduced into the preheating chamber 7 from an open-air inlet port 9 and preheated in the chamber 7 through contact with the blades 1 heated to a high temperature, whereafter it is supplied to a hot heating means from a preheated-fluid outlet port 10. |
