<p>PURPOSE:To form various timing pulses to be used for a digital video tape recorder which converts an analog color video signal to a digital color video signal, records it, reproduces and modulates it, and returns it to its original signal. CONSTITUTION:A reference horizontal synchronizing signal is obtained by synchronizing with a color burst signal in an input color video signal, forming a continuous wave whose frequency is integer times as high as its burst signal, and dividing this continuous wave. This timing pulse generating circuit is used in case when a sampling clock synchronizing with said reference horizontal synchronizing signal is formed and this sampling clock digitizes said input color video signal, and separates a horizontal synchronizing signal from said input color video signal, and decides phase of said reference horizontal synchronizing signal by this separated horizontal synchronizing signal and said continuous wave.</p> |
