PURPOSE:To increase the probability of retrial success, by making reexecution from a positioning possible point just before a block where an error takes place without reexecution from an instruction start block, if the error takes place. CONSTITUTION:When a block check circuit 22 detects an error, a control circuit 19 gives reexecution to a register 23 of a channel device 11 and instructs the positioning to a positioning possible point of one point before to a controller. When the channel device 11 recognizes the request of instruction reexecution via the register 23, the content of registers 16 and 17 is set respectively to registers 14 and 15. In this case, the instructions in the register 15, especially data addresses and counts are values at the positioning possible point prior to a block of error generation, allowing to start transfer from the block of error generation. Thus, the probability of reexecution success can be increased. |
