PURPOSE:To prevent a pedometer from miss counting by forming one of stoppers which determine the rocking range of a magnet for the pedometer provided with a lead switch turning ON/OFF by the contact/separation of a pendulum whose top is provided with a magnet, with buffering member having magnetism. CONSTITUTION:A pendulum 1 is attached to base plate 4 by a pendulum supporting shaft 5 so as to rotate freely and a rectangular parallelepiped-like permanet magnet is fixed on the top of the pendulum. Upper and lower 2 stoppers are opposed at a fixed interval in the oscillating direction and the lower stopper 10' is made of magnet rubber for the relaxation of impact. When a free end of a plate spring 3' whose base end is fixed on a spring fixing pin 9 is made contact with the spring holding part 9' projected near the free end of the pendulum 1, the pendulum 1 is forced so as to be pushed up; the pendulum is balanced at static status. When the pendulum 1 oscillates downwards by the intial strong acceleration, the magnetic pole of the top permanent magnet 14 adsorbes that of the lower stopper 10' because of different poles and a lead switch 15 is continued to be ON until strong acceleration at the end of stepping is applied reversely, preventing the pedometer from overcounting. |
