摘要 |
PURPOSE:To provide a leaf spring which is suitable for composite substance of a shock absorber by covering both faces of a lamination of roving layers with fiber matte of random lengths to form a reinforcing fiber body, thereby improving shock absorbing efficiency, recovery and durability. CONSTITUTION:A bumper 4 is kept by a bumper stay 3 via a shock absorber 1. The shock absorber 1 is made up of a pair of fiber reinforced plastic leaf springs 2 which are shaped in the forked form. The leaf spring 2 is a combination shape of a reinforcing fiber body F and thermosetting plastic P. The reinforcing fiber body F consists of an internal lamination 51 of a few roving layers which are parallelly rowed and external layers 52 of random-length fiber matte M which both the side faces of the internal lamination are covered. Content of the reinforcing fiber F is volumetrically set 40-70% in respect to the plastic. |
