The lock (2,3) for a door (1) comprises a locking bar (2) having a portion (5) which is rotatable in an opening (6) in the door and carries a radial locking arm (4) on the inside and an annular rim (9) locating against the outside of the door. A collar (12) on this portion defines a part-annular groove (13) on the inside whose radially inner wall has two flats (16). The dimensions of the arm (4) and the collar (12) are such that the lock can be inserted through the opening (6) from outside and then axially located (3) on the inside by two spring elements (17" is part of one) engaging the groove on either side.
