PURPOSE:To display variables on a large scale with clear mutual relation between the variables by deciding gradations on a scale axis on a two-dimensional display device on the basis of one variable, and displaying the other variable movably along the scale axis. CONSTITUTION:On the screen 4 of, e.g., a CRT, a pointer P indicating a set point P is assigned at the upper limit of a constant-length scale axis 5, on which gradations are set according to the set point. A measured value, on the other hand, is displayed by bar display Q moving along the scale axis 5. Thus, variables are displayed on a large scale with clear mutual relation between the variables. |
