A device forming in particular the anchor escapement of a clock, is provided with a toothed escapement wheel which can be rotated about a fixed arbour. A regulating member is provided with a balance wheel, which can be rotated about a fixed arbour, and preferably with a balance spring as well as an anchor-shaped connector, which can be rotated about an arbour. The arbour of said connector has a fixedly predetermined position and is located on the straight line running through the arbours of the escapement wheel and balance wheel. The end of this connector which faces the rotary shaft is provided with an input lever and an output lever, which are supported one after the other on a tooth of the escapement wheel. The other end bears a fork preferably with two horns in which an impulse pin, fixedly connected to the balance wheel, can engage. In order to simplify a device of this type, the impulse pin (17') and the balance wheel (4) are composed of one and the same piece, and, as a result, the various parts do not need to be connected. <IMAGE>
