PURPOSE:To achieve a small sized tape cassette, by providing an arm member for drawing out a magnetic tape externally at a cassette opening only as required. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette is inserted, a rotary cover 43 is pushed up and turned, and a cassette case 20 is opened and a slide plate 33 is continuously moved in front of the opening via a pin 44 of the cover 43 and an arm member 31 formed with arms 34 and 35 follows. Thus, a tape guide 49 moves externally to the case 20 almost along an ideal locus accompanied with the movement of a member 31 guided with a groove 48 to form an excellent loading pocket. As a result, no formation of the loading pocket to the case is required in advance, allowing to make a tape cassette small in size. |
