The invention relates to a double cylinder lock having a coupling device for the selective coupling of the cores to a blocking-nose ring, designed for actuation by emergency key, the mutually confronting ends of the cores containing coupling shackles mounted displaceably in axial bores. The coupling shackles are provided so as to be displaceable relative to one another counter to the pressure of springs, are connected fixedly in terms of rotation to one another and have slots serving for receiving the key tips. The invention relates, furthermore, to an emergency key for use in a double cylinder lock of the above-described type, the key tip having a recess for receiving the graduation of the bolt, and the spine region of the emergency key being designed as a strip displaceable relative to the shank.
